GIVING THANKS TO GOD FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE

  • Nine gatherings of widows and pensioners were held on Wednesdays this summer at the McMurrin home in Gorenichi to foster fellowship and spiritual growth in small groups of 15-20 people.

  • A new Bible class was added on Sunday afternoon for those widows and pensioners who wanted to have their class before Sunday worship service. This is a smaller class of 35-40 compared to the Saturday class of 140...

    GIVING THANKS TO GOD FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE:

     

  • Sixteen new members were received into St. Paul's Church and two of them received the sacrament of baptism

  • Caregivers are sharing verses from the Bible each week with their homebound person as they deliver food packets to them. At present 70 people are delivering food to 90 homebound.
  • An outdoor worship service was held in the "Green Cathedral" under the trees at the McMurrin home on August 4th, and 185 people attended. Two new members, Lidia Polozuk and Galina Poberezhnaya, were baptized.

     

    ASKING FOR HIS BLESSING AND GUIDANCE FOR:

     

  • Wes and Kim as they hold meetings in Canada sharing the Mission, and fulfill responsibilities there at the University
  • Diane and Roger as they travel in the United States visiting donors
  • The fall season of concerts that are being planned- that we find the financial support from both America and Ukraine
  • For the Kygyz singers and orchestra players as they await Roger's return to Kyrgyzstan in November
  • For the children who will be returning to our Christian Music Club this fall
  • For the orphans who are returning to the orphanage in September

     

    FOR HEALING:

     

  • For those widows who are in the hospital
  • For those families who have lost a loved one
  • For Oxsana, daughter of Nina, who is in a mental hospital in Ukraine
  • For those widows who live in difficult and abusive situations with alcoholic sons
