Dig Deeper Bible Study Group Gathering

Our Bible study group has been gathering for almost a year! After the lockdown, it split into two, and Irina is so happy to see that the number of people is growing bit by bit. To Irina, it means they are enjoying the process of searching for diamonds in the Word of God. And this time men joined the group, too! The atmosphere was noisy, engaging, and family-like. 

Irina can’t imagine the meetings without tea-time. “After all, tea warms the soul and unites us all around the study of the Word of God.” Today the group began reading Chapter 4 of the Epistle to the Philippians. They managed to discuss only ten verses this time, as the group dug deep to understand the scriptures. The group read, meditated upon, and debated the passage, so the two hours passed very quickly. Victor said, “We’ve been reading for two hours already, but we have read so little!” It was a real treasure for everyone.

After our discussion, we prayed prayer. Irina mentioned, “I really love this part of our meeting when we pray for each other! Many people started sharing their problems and asked to pray for them. What a joy!” As part of their homework, Irina asked them to read the chapter to the end and write out all the precious pearls of wisdom they could find there. We are looking forward to our next Bible study group meeting. Thank God we can get together like this.
