Visit with Nina O.

Nina has been going to St. Paul’s Church for seven years, and she is also a part of the Dig Deeper Bible study group. Irina hadn’t seen her in church or in our group meetings lately, and she got worried and gave her a call. Irina found out that Nina had joint problems—she had difficulty walking, standing, and even sitting. Now Nina is undergoing a thorough medical check. She was so happy to hear from Irina, and she promised to visit her.

Nina was very glad to see Irina when she visited! Nina really needs spiritual support and prayers. She is 79 years old and has two daughters and a grandson, but she lives by herself. She fondly remembers the day when she first came to St. Paul’s Church seven years ago. She was excited, and a bit scared as she didn’t know what to expect. The more she went to church, the more she learned about our Mission and about God! When she got sick, she realized how much she needed spiritual communication. So, during Irina’s visit, they read the Bible together and talked a lot. Nina didn't want Irina to go. She thanked God and everyone for such care and attention to her. Nobody has ever treated her like this, and she has never witnessed such love and respect for the elderly!
