An Unexpected Visit with Marina

After visiting a helpless elderly couple in the hostel, Irina and Sasha decided to go and thank the neighbors who invited us. One of the women showed them her place. She said they had lived in these terrible conditions all their life because they couldn’t afford to buy an apartment. When Irina saw the room, she started crying. 

The woman's name is Marina, and she is 56 years old. She has three children, one of which, her eldest 30-year-old son, is disabled. When he was eight years old, he was injured by falling and hitting his head. As a result, there was a growing tumor in his head. After surgery, he started having epilepsy fits. Marina goes to church and loves God, and she was thrilled to receive our help! They ended their visit by praying together.
