Meeting with Military Widows

On July 25, we met with widows who lost their husbands in the east of Ukraine. It was our first meeting after a long break. Despite many trials—including bad weather, rain, and coronavirus worries—we were still able to meet.

God arranged everything perfectly. At first, we doubted we could have a picnic since everything was wet after a big rain. Instead, we decided to walk in the park, have fellowship, and distribute food and cards. However, during our walk, we found coverings with big alcoves and enough space for everybody. There were 30 people at this meeting (16 widows + children + leading team). So we got to have a real picnic after all. All the women were grateful to God and the organizers of the meeting. It had been so long since we met and the widows missed our encouraging gatherings and fellowship during the long quarantine.

We glorified the Lord in singing, praying, and listening to God’s word. We also had a tasty lunch and played interesting games (entertaining ourselves with useful and fun prizes). Distributing the food cards was a tremendous blessing for widows.

We are grateful to everyone who supports our mission and makes this all possible. Your donations and prayers for our military widows encourage us!
