Natalya Becomes A Stephen Minister

Natalya Y. is a military widow who recently joined our widows’ food program and just became a Stephen Minister. Last week, Natalya made her first visit to a homebound widow (Inna) along with Oksana. Inna, Oksana, and Natalya prayed and read the word of God together.

Inna shared about her life and health problems. Unfortunately, her health is not good—she often experiences dizziness and shortness of breath. Inna also has difficulty moving around her apartment.

Inna reminisced on the times when she was able to paint. Now she sits in her room admiring her paintings and thanking God for the gift He gave her.

Inna expressed her gratitude for the food vouchers we are providing. The majority of her pension goes toward buying medicines. Inna also shared how thankful she is for the blanket she received at Christmas—it turned out to be a very practical gift, and she has put it to good use.
