The Easter Celebration Continues!
Unfortunately, the pandemic situation in Ukraine prevented us from having a normal Easter celebration this year. However on May 6, we hosted our regular widows’ gathering and voucher distribution, but we also celebrated Easter with our traditional paska bread.
But the Easter celebration continues! Just last week, we were blessed with 503 pieces of paska bread for free (including free delivery) from the bakery that sold us Easter bread earlier this month. The owner just called Lena and said he would be happy to give us this paska bread (which will expire in June). Our people were surprised, happy, and very thankful for MMK.
We sent 60 of them to the military widows—Oksana's brother came to pick those up. Speaking of Oksana, last week she taught our Thursday Bible lesson on the importance of Easter.
